Project idea

The project's concept was to create a multi-level parking garage for visitors to our city's shopping center. The idea was based on the building's design, which retains its functionality through its exterior, while utilizing modern materials and a striking image. The goal was not to "hide" the building, but to make it visible and aesthetically pleasing.

Project description

The project consists of two main components: a multi-level parking garage and a vehicle maintenance area with wash bays and service stations. The master plan was developed with temporary parking needs in mind. The five-story open-air parking garage can accommodate 300 vehicles simultaneously, including those with disabilities. The vehicle maintenance station includes staff areas, including dressing rooms, changing rooms, and showers. Storage areas for spare parts and flammable liquids, as well as a compressor room, are also included.

Technical information

The building's structural design is a frame structure with a grid of reinforced concrete columns. Curtain metal panels were chosen for the façade system. The blind surfaces of the stairwells, finished with textured plaster and painted a pure red, serve as accent elements. The façade details include floor numbers. A frame system with increased ceiling height for the car wash and service bays was chosen for the service station. The walls and floors are made of reinforced concrete.
