The concept of the project is based on creating the illusion of a floating building, where the form appears visually light and elevated through the use of cantilevers, recessed structural elements, and transparent openings that minimize the perception of support.
The building is designed to create the illusion of floating through the strategic use of façade materials and visual composition. The first two floors are clad with reflective mirror surfaces that visually dissolve the base and blend the structure with its surroundings, making the upper mass appear suspended above the ground. In contrast, the upper two floors feature a pixelated façade treatment composed of two contrasting colors, creating a dynamic visual effect that enhances depth, movement, and optical illusion while reinforcing the
Technically, the building is designed using a flat slab structural system, which allows for larger open spaces, minimal structural interruptions, and greater flexibility in the interior layout. The absence of deep beams creates clean ceiling planes that enhance the seamless and lightweight appearance of the project, supporting the overall illusion of the building floating above the ground. The system also improves spatial efficiency, reduces floor-to-floor height, and integrates effectively with the cantilevered and visually dynamic façade design.
