10 years of INSPIRELI winners on one map

We celebrated 10 years of INSPIRELI at INSPIRELI Point café in the heart of Prague.

As part of the 10th anniversary of the INSPIRELI AWARDS, 400 guests from all over the world came to Prague, including two dozen former winners. We prepared medals with their names made of Czech crystal from ArtCrystal Tomeš for them, and we also unveiled a world map on which they placed their names. They also found it on the new pedestal of the Wings to the Future traveling trophy, the latest work of designer Bořek Šípek, co-founder of INSPIRELI. The former winners are now successful architects and continue to remain with INSPIRELI in the role of judges and advisors.

It was a great honor to meet again with the winners, even after 10 years, who came from all over the world. South America was represented by the winners of the last year Belisario Terán, Valentina Rios Jaimes, Scott Wilde from Argentina. Asia was represented by the architect Somayeh Ravanshadnia (winner of the 2nd year), and the winners of the 3rd year (2017-2018) Ksenia Zabardygina and Gleb Goncharenko. From Europe, we met last year's winners Jakub Misniakiewicz and Mateusz Pudowski, winner of the 1st edition Jakub Hoffman from the Czech Republic, Italian architect Giacomo Garziano (winner of the 2nd year) and the winner of 5th year Jani Toci from Albania. And we also met the winner of the 6th year Maha Aziz from Egypt.

The meeting with the winners was also attended by some of the most prominent architects and our three active judges who have been with INSPIRELI since the beginning – Budi Pradono from Indonesia, Damith Premathilake from Sri Lanka and Francois Valentiny from Luxembourg.

Together, we placed the names of all the winners on a world map and spent an afternoon together in the center of Prague. Some of us then continued to Kutná Hora, so we had the opportunity to get to know each other better and show off the most beautiful architecture in the Czech Republic.
