Project description

MEMORY DESCRIPTIVE The project is located in Bratislava, Slovakia, living with Baroque and Brutalist architecture. The proposal is generated before the need to provide the university a campus within the complex, the which would generate new activities, mainly the "innovation center technological "and also new uses for varied users, from students, professionals and the general public. The circulation that occurs through the new platform that connects the entire complex and its buildings, while forms a transition space between covered and uncovered, generating a spatial sequence by which one can walk, circulate and carry out activities. The building resolution was resolved taking advantage of the existing building of laboratories, reusing it and endowing it of a new configuration. I also know take advantage of the existence of unevenness burying the new buildings, of this way the patio is freed up, making it possible outdoor activities.

Technical information

The materials to carry out the project ( concrete, metal, glass) were chosen based on the context in which it is located, with antecedent brutalist and to provide industrial character, adapting them to spaces according to their functions.
