Project idea

the project is cultural craft center located in old cairo in telal el-fustat region. the goal is rebuild crafts men who are capable to save our old traditions and our valuable hand crafts which traveled through the time from generation to another by building educational craft center that may be a focal point for tourists and local people to learn about those crafts and try it themselves

Project description

some of environmental solutions was the usage of wind catchers all around the project such as the old traditional architecture in old historical cairo. also inner courts help with cross ventilation for the spaces which are far away from the direct north wind
