Interiér výjimečného pražského penthousu vznikal v dokonale plynulé spolupráci s klienty, jejichž vkus se podařilo přesně vystihnout již v prvním návrhu. Výsledný prostor dnes působí přesně tak, jak byl zamýšlen od samého počátku, a to je pro architekta vždy malá výhra.
Cílem návrhu bylo vytvořit klidný a nadčasový domov pro rodinu, založený na čistém designu, práci se světlem a kvalitních přírodních materiálech. Celý interiér je laděn do jemných béžových tónů, které nechávají vyniknout strukturu travertinu, dýh a keramických povrchů inspirovaných přírodním kamenem.
Jedná se o rekonstrukci bytu, kde i před ní klienti bydleli. Dispozice prošla citlivou úpravou, nejvýrazněji v případě koupelen, které byly upravené s důrazem na komfort a vizuální kontinuitu celého prostoru. Nový design interiér proměnil o 180 stupňů.
Vstupní hala přirozeně rozděluje penthouse na dvě části – pobytovou obývací část a soukromou část s ložnicemi a koupelnami. Ze všech místností je vstup na terasy s krásnými pražskými výhledy. Dominantou obytného prostoru je kuchyň s masivním ostrůvkem a jídelní stůl, nad nimiž se vznáší výrazná dýhová svítidla značky LZF, která prostoru dodávají měkkost a organický kontrast k přesným liniím interiéru. Světelný koncept doplňují minimalistická svítidla od DeltaLight.
Významnou roli v hlavním obytném prostoru hrají komplikované podhledy s pěti různými výškovými úrovněmi, které nebylo možné konstrukčně měnit. Namísto potlačení se staly aktivním designovým prvkem. Rytmus lamel a práce se světlem a stínem dodávají prostoru hloubku a vizuální řád. Podhledy zároveň citlivě skrývají technická řešení včetně původní vzduchotechniky, jejíž zachování si vyžádalo velmi precizní koordinaci všech profesí.
Interiér doplňují autorské obrazy z galerie Artefin, vybrané dle doporučení architekta a v souladu s původní studií. Výrazná prosklená šatní skříň, kouřová zrcadla a pečlivě zvolené detaily podtrhují celkový pocit lehkosti a promyšlenosti. Výsledek je takový i díky precizní práci dodavatelů, u nichž bylo patrné, že jim záleží na kvalitě i kráse každého detailu.
Jak trefně poznamenal sám klient:
„Cítím se tu tak dobře, že nemusím ani na dovolenou.“
A právě tento pocit byl hlavním cílem i měřítkem úspěchu celého návrhu.
The interior of this exceptional Prague penthouse was created in perfectly smooth collaboration with the clients, whose taste was accurately captured in the very first design. The resulting space now looks exactly as it was intended from the beginning, which is always a small victory for an architect.
The aim of the design was to create a peaceful and timeless home for the family, based on clean design, the use of light, and high-quality natural materials. The entire interior is decorated in soft beige tones, which highlight the texture of travertine, veneers, and ceramic surfaces inspired by natural stone.
This project is a renovation of an apartment where the clients lived before. The layout underwent a sensitive modification, most notably in the bathrooms, which were redesigned with an emphasis on comfort and visual continuity throughout the space. The new design completely transformed the whole interior.
The entrance hall naturally divides the penthouse into two parts – a living area and a private area with bedrooms and bathrooms. All rooms have access to terraces with beautiful views of Prague. The living space is dominated by the kitchen with a massive island and the dining table, above which hang distinctive LZF veneer light fixtures that lend the space softness and an organic contrast to the precise lines of the interior. The lighting concept is complemented by minimalist fixtures from DeltaLight.
Complex suspended ceilings with five different height levels, which could not be structurally altered, play an important role in the main living space. Instead of being suppressed, they have become an active design element. The rhythm of the slats and the play of light and shadow add depth and visual order to the space. At the same time, the suspended ceilings sensitively conceal technical solutions, including the original ventilation system, the preservation of which required very precise coordination of all professions.
The interior is complemented by original paintings from the Artefin gallery, selected according to the architect's recommendations and in accordance with the original study. A striking glass wardrobe, smoked mirrors, and carefully chosen details underline the overall feeling of lightness and thoughtfulness. The result was possible also thanks to the precise work of the contractors, who clearly cared about the quality and beauty of every detail.
As the client himself aptly remarked:
"I feel so good here that I don't even need to go on vacation."
And it was precisely this feeling that was the main goal and measure of success for the entire design.
