“A cartoon of two or three lines in pencil can tell more than a ten-page article.” Cartoon and comic art are a different form of art, it’s a creation. Many developed countries in the world have successfully build a strong entertainment market and contributed in economic growth. With the increasing popularity of cartoon and comic culture over the world due to the “Superhero age” of movies. People, specially students have started taking an interest in making their own comics, whether it is sometimes as minor bit strips or on a professional level. We can also have our own fairy tales, folk stories which can be visualized and it is suitable with our own context. In Bangladesh, cartoon is not considered as a rich art form & cartoonists are not given the proper recognition, as they should be given. As a result, instead of having some very talented cartoonists, Bangladesh is falling behind in many ways regarding this art form. One of the reasons, is that, people of Bangladesh do not know about the worth of this art form. But, culturally, politically & socially some cartoons played huge role in the history of Bangladesh. So, a academy for teaching cartoons, letting people know about cartoons & an institution for cartoon studies is needed in Bangladesh.

Cartoon and comic are all about drama, thrill & excitement. To create this drama, double height space, solid-void, roof punch, bridge, sculptural stairs etc. is designed. Double height space creates floor to floor visual connection. When a user walks through the corridor he/she can experience the thrill by continuous changes of views. where surprise awaits in every step.
Technické informace
The site is divided into two zone private (academic) and public (cineplex, gallery, seminar & comic shop), sculpture court is the interaction zone. Visitors will be able to enter to public function via hall of fame, where institutional achievements, awards, projects will be shown to inspire them. Canteen is placed with other public functions so that when there will be no public activity that side of the site will be cheerful.
