In a bid to increase the quality of education for Architecture students in Nigeria, the Nigerian University Commission has approved Faculty of Architecture for every school Of Architecture. This project involves the design of a 1,000 seating capacity Lecture Theatre for the Faculty of Architecture, University of Ilorin. To be situated within the vicinity of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences under construction.

After carefully studying the design considerations such as; Acoustics & Visual/Sightline Consideration; Ventilation & Thermal Control; Tier Pitch; and Access, Circulation & Evacuation Plan Through case studies, literature review, site inventory & analysis. The following brief was developed: Auditorium hall; Conveniences; Lecture rooms; Outdoor Reading Nook; Plunge pool
Technické informace
EYE BALL- a spheroidal structure. The eye reacts to light & allows vision & depth perception. The Inner Shell consists of the; Skylight, Concrete Roof Cover, & Curtain Wall. The Outer Shell consists of the; Kinetic Photovoltaic panels, Concrete parapet, Bamboo sun-shade, & Concrete foundation footing
