The idea of the project was to build the first high-rise building in Alexandria that would use clean energy. The building in its exterior has taken a more expressive and modernist look. The waves created leave a sensational impression and the idea is generally good. Acording to details about clean energy . As in Egypt the weather is warm enough and as i can see the building with the new stainless steel mesh is oriented in the wider faces east west. That means the most of the time sun is direcly on the facade and the building absorbs heat. And to the air conditioning system that is not quite good. Better it would be to be oriented north-south. And that helps with the ventilation too as it creates a flow in between the staircases and the interior. Thats is natural ventilation. The double glazed glass helps into keeping the temp still. To not have big differences from low to high. That helps with the energy system. And the light penetrates easily inside. And the solar systems in north south would take light the most as the biggest part of them are face to face with the sun.
