Mil-office

Idea projektu

Mil-office or so-called the Millenial office is the first office on site, in fact, is the first in the city with outdoor working space with a city view in a floating garden. It is an office with a new working ambiance, it is the first private office with co-working ambiance/vibes to help boost up collaboration and work quality. Mil-office could be a trendsetter and could give a positive impact not only on the building's users but as well to the surroundings. It has a futuristic design, with a vertical garden that functioned as a green aesthetics. Every side of the building has this void, which functioned as a "floating garden". The floating garden itself is a concept in this building. It is functioned as an outdoor working space, with the goal where this working space could help reduce the office worker's stress levels, boost up social activity, and boost up working quality. It also does give a positive impact on the neighborhood, as this floating garden could form biodiversity in the area, and could act as an extra green room (sustainability value) in the area.

Popis projektu

Mil office is an office that could provide efficiency, could help boost up working activity, and happens to be one of the newest, groundbreaking, futuristic designs on site. Mil office comes with a primary function as an office, co-working, and meeting room. And its secondary function is retail. It has these 4 facilities that every office might need, and the office users' can get it all in one building. With such a complete function in one building, we can have an extra target market coming from a different background. And mil-office has a low competitor on-site, as most offices were spread 3km away, while some offices that are located near to "mil office" is a low-grade ordinary office. As we all know these days, young people (millennials) prefer to choose an office that doesn't feel like an office. Especially these days, there is a bunch of startup companies, where most of them are searching for an office that makes them feel at home and comfortable. They are not hunting for a big professional company space, but they prefer a working space that is relaxing and comfortable. With this, the mil-office has an answer to that. Mil office is an office that targets various markets and users, by providing a complete facility in one building and a new working ambiance. Mil-office is a high rise that has a positive value not only for the buildings themselves but as well for the surroundings. Such as value in the design, to the environment, to the context, and to the users. It also is a trendsetter, as it has this "the first on-site" value. This design also helps in answering global issues, such as global warming. The exterior design is a collaboration between technology and greenery (sustainability).

Hello Denisha, hope you are doing well. First, I want to tell you that I really like the relation of volumes and vegetation that you propose in your project. Your jenga like morphology seems appropriate for providing shadows and climate comfort between the volumes. Following, I address some points that you can try to explore in your project: 1. Main Volumes. The shapes and textures you used seem correct for the project. You can try to add a second skin in precise spaces for light and ventilation management. Elements such as louvers can help you bring texture to the light entering the spaces as well as letting you the chance to open curtain wall closed spaces so the climate comfort in your project is reached with passive techniques. Also, these skins can help you provide different accents at night, where the inner lights take the stage to guide your project´s composition. 2. Glass. As a complement of the previous point. Adding the real glass textures and solar control properties you want, can help you add a unique language to your projects facades. 3. Landscape. You can try to continue your cubic shaped morphology in the plaza and landscape design, so the green space in the first level feels as a unity with the entire project. Your idea has great potential and if you add more unique qualities to your project’s enclosures, you can have a very complete proposal that matches the ecological paradigm requirements. Also, the mixture of textures that you can apply in relation with green spaces, can help maximize the user´s experience in every space of your project. I would like to see more inner spaces as well. I hope my comments can help you in your design. Feel free of contacting me if there´s any doubt.
