This pavilion design pays homage to Antonio Gaudi and his work. It combines some of its well-known elements such as columns, arches, mosaic and nature. The idea behind this project is to bring his work closer to all people around the world and to help them experience visiting Barcelona even though they have never actually been there. For those who have visited this city, it will be a nice memory in their own hometown or any other city near them.
This project is a tribute to Gaudi but my idea is to have many more tributes to great architects and artist.
The project can be realized in the urban area, making it good solution to implement greenery in the nowadays "concrete jungles". The circling water in the fountain, mixed with some chimcals, can recreate the smell of sea water that can be experienced at the original location of Gaudi's work.
First of all, congratulations, visual representation, and the idea behind the project are understandable and clear.
I suggest you think of it much more as a memorial area than a pavilion, based on selected works you wanted to highlight in memory of Antoni Gaudi.
Think also about the possibility of what you, as an architect, can bring in terms of innovation, how people can feel emotions behind your design. Let people see Antoni G. while visiting your project.
Rethink the combination of selected architectural elements in order to stay as much as possible in Gaudi’s architectural style.
