Modern housing proposal, located in Honduras, currently in execution. The request of the family was a futuristic proposal, projects not very common in my country and adapted to the topography of the land.
the limitations of the project were the budget and the topography itself, in the end it was decided to create the house on two levels but adapting the project to the topography, going down 17 steps and finding the kitchen, living room, dining room and with a view of the mountains that that It was the client's goal.
In first I want to congratulate you for your futuristic design. Here are some advices which in my opinion could help your final design to achieve his goal:
- use some real traditional materials like clay, wood or stone (usually find in mountain region, maybe also in the project region, because concrete and steel could not be considered traditional materials)
- in my opinion it might be interesting to make a roof inspired by relief, which would send to the shape of the specific mountain landscape (it is not an observation, it is just a subjective advice).
- for your participation it would have been good to have posted some construction plans that could highlight the relationship between the interior and exterior space.
