It is very difficult to overestimate the role and importance of green spaces in modern large megacities. After all, they do not just purify the air, absorb harmful substances and protect people's homes from dust and noise. They also provide a spiritual connection between man and nature. The idea of the project was to create a kind of "portal" connecting the world of nature with the human body detached from it. The square is one of the main forms of urban landscaping. In a locality, it is designed to perform several functions at once: recreational, ecological, educational, aesthetic and cognitive.

This site was chosen due to the fact that it is located near the central bus station of the city, meets and accompanies residents and visitors, and therefore can be a recreation and waiting area for guests and not only. Also, the territory is a small green "island" in the midst of a bustling metropolis, built up with multi–storey buildings and deprived of a proper amount of landscaping. The territory is divided into a walking area and a recreation area, and also has a convenient trace for transit movement. Chamber space is created thanks to properly selected landscaping.
Technické informace
In the center of the square there are three projected places for recreation made of wood. These small architectural forms resemble a triangle in the plan, in the center of which there will be a place for a holly maple. It is assumed that the trees will create a very necessary shade for hot summer days. The place of their planting will be camouflaged with natural material - large chips, which is eco–friendly and attractive. One of the resting places will be multi-stage, that is, it is made in two tiers. This technique will help to efficiently accommodate a larger number of visitors in a smaller area, while not violating the convenience of people's stay. You can get to the place of quiet rest through a round-shaped distribution platform, in the center of which there is a flowerbed of peonies of the "Sarah Bernhardt" variety. In the places of the main entrances to the territory of the square there are also distribution platforms. The paths are paved with tiles, there is a lawn on the un-planted territories. On the edge of one of the main paths, it is planned to plant ordinary lilac, which will fence off the square from the fence, dissonant with it, and attract people's eyes. The plants are selected in such a way that all year round the square will stand out among the buildings, look fresh and neat. In spring – lilac blossoms, in summer - the juiciness of greenery and the beauty of peonies, in autumn – the bright foliage of maple, and in winter larch will not lose its aesthetic characteristics.
