The idea for a car museum came because the city of Peja does not have spaces for the exhibition of cars that are held every year in the center of the city, and for this reason we thought of dedicating a special space to it, not only for a month or a week, but serve the whole city for promotion and shows throughout the year.
This project contains display spaces, auxiliary spaces, regulating or cushioning spaces that serve to garage cars. However, the museum contains: The special library, the management offices, the meeting offices, the accommodation spaces and the main hall is divided into the existing space in which the museum owns the cars as well as the service space in which the customers are interested in promoting their cars .
The object was from the period before 60 years, it served as a warehouse, we have transformed it as a museum using its own construction, but we have intervened in the heart of the object by placing a cube formed from the construction of steel and glass to change the monotony old to the object.
Hi Selim Kelmendi, very interesting building. In your description can you elaborate on the history of the existing building. You also mention the Peja exhibition of cars, but you don't provide any detail on it. Why is it special, why is it an annual event. Is there any history to this?
Some technical details on the construction will add a lot to your project. How do you fix the new to the existing?
Graphically I would suggest that you make it clearer what is existing and what is new. You also have overlapping text north of the building.
