The project explores the application of ceramic 3D printing in modern construction, focusing on the potential for creating modular structural components. Inspired by the exceptional strength of diamonds, their tetrahedral network served as the foundation for developing an optimal structural geometry.
The resulting form is a ceramic structural module whose geometry is derived through script-based design. This process enables precise adjustment of parameters such as height, frequency, and degree of curvature, allowing for the creation of structures optimized for both functionality and aesthetics. The modules interconnect according to an algorithmic framework, forming complex spatial arrangements.
The element is made from technical clay using ceramic 3D printing. A central opening allows for the incorporation of metal reinforcement rods, ensuring stability and durability. Script-based design enables flexible adaptation of module dimensions to specific architectural requirements, eliminating the need for fixed formats.
Hi Patryk Iwanczuk,
The design concept is both interesting and advanced, embodying an important touch of the techniques used in modern architecture.
Great work, and I wish you continued success and innovation!
