Champions League Pavilion Design

Idea projektu

his project, developed for the TEKNOFEST 2025 – Champions League Pavilion Design Category, aims to create a dynamic, transparent, and accessible space that fosters inclusivity and interaction. Designed within a 40m by 125m footprint, the pavilion emphasizes openness and connectivity through circular spatial organization and fully glazed enclosures. The proposal reflects the competition’s goals of innovation, community engagement, and temporary architectural excellence.

Popis projektu

The pavilion features multiple modular spaces arranged along a central circulation spine, allowing for smooth flow and visibility between areas. The layout accommodates multiple teams in separated zones while maintaining a shared visual experience. The form relies heavily on transparency through curtain wall systems, ensuring a fluid relationship between the inside and outside. other team members are Oussama Chekairi and Mohammed Saad Elidrissi

Technické informace

The structure spans 40 meters by 125 meters, with a uniform height of 4 meters. The primary structure consists of steel columns supporting lightweight UPVC roof panels, making the pavilion easy to assemble and dismantle. Glazed curtain walls—both interior and exterior—provide clarity and daylight, while modular flooring and elevated stage areas support various event activities. The circular arrangement of zones optimizes circulation and spatial experience across the entire layout.

Champions League Pavilion Design

The circular zones and curved partitions suggest an engaging and fluid experience. However, the programmatic functions of each area need to be more clearly articulated, and the relationship between circulation and use could be better justified. The roof perforations add an interesting layer but would benefit from a clearer connection to the interior spaces below.

Clearly define the function of each space and ensure circulation supports those functions. Strengthen the link between the roof design and interior experience.
