The design site is located in the southeastern part of the city, on the banks of the floodplain of the Ob River. The area of the territory is 35 hectares.
The territory is artificially washed and is intended for the construction of university infrastructure, which is part of Surgut State University.
The construction of both the campus and the campus is due to a serious shortage of academic space, a shortage of living space for students and the lack of related infrastructure, such as a sports complex, a concert hall, etc.
The functional zoning of the entire campus is based on the principle of distinguishing quiet and loud zones separated by a large courtyard. The university campus is located directly on the left side, and the sports complex, a dormitory complex and a youth center are located on the right.
The campus is also divided into 2 accessibility zones, separated by a small boulevard. The zone is accessible to all citizens, all objects of which are connected by a public embankment, and the zone is intended only for students and university staff.
For greater security, a car-free environment is located between the functional zones. The only car passage runs along the perimeter of the territory, providing the necessary access to all infrastructure facilities.
As I have already said, the main objective of the project is to combat climatic conditions. It is this idea that underlies the education of both the campus and the entire campus.
The visual appearance of the project is inspired by the visual style of suprematism.
The shaping of the campus building is based on several simple rectangular shapes, according to which the functions are divided - academic buildings, a sports complex, a cultural center, an administrative building and the main building. The connecting core of the building is the winter garden, which permeates the entire volume and forms functional links between all buildings. The accent is an element made in the form of a ring raised above ground level, in which laboratory rooms are located.

The Winter Garden is the central link connecting all the other buildings of the campus. In addition to the function of moving from office to office, there are areas for study and extracurricular activities on its territory.
Thus, functions strictly separated by buildings intersect in one central open multi-light space, forming, so to speak, a single organism.
