Work description
Research Group: Advanced Magnetic MaterialsResearch Center: Centre for Advanced Materials ResearchAs a Master’s student in our research center (CAMR) you will engage in a collaborative project focused on the preparation of layered two-dimensional (2D) materials and the investigation of doping effects on their electronic properties. The scope of your internship will include synthesizing transition metal phosphorus compounds such as TMPX₃, FePS₃, FePSe₃, and MnPS₃. You will explore how the incorporation of magnetic ions influences these materials, aiming to enhance their magnetic properties. Working within a dedicated team, you will collaborate with fellow researchers to design experiments, perform material characterization, and analyze data to understand the relationship between doping and material behavior. This team-oriented environment will provide you with hands-on experience in material synthesis techniques, proficiency in characterization methods, and the opportunity to contribute to innovative research aimed at advancing the properties and applications of 2D materials. Through your involvement, you will develop both technical skills and collaborative competencies essential for a successful career in materials science.Hands on experimentMaterials Preparation
