Project idea

The idea being to create an academic environment in which learners from all engineering faculties can work, learn and socialize together sharing ideas and inspiration. A courtyard intervention that becomes the binding element of the campus.

Project description

The existing trees and greenery on site guided the design to be placed in all the open spaces among the trees. By filling up available spaces building masses scattered across the site are enclosed and become a unified building with an expanded metal perforated aluminum 'skin'.

Concrete Column grid structure with Galvanized mild steel shell structure.
