Project idea

The design concept for the building aims to minimize its impact on the surrounding buildings with historical value while enhancing the overall space. The main focus of the building will be the historical ruin which will serve as the jowl of the building, and the new construction will be carefully integrated around it, acting as a supportive structure that complements and enriches the area

Project description

The circulation of the building represents the idea of time, past present, and future, by integrating past, present, and future in a unified manner. creating a circulation path that takes visitors on a journey through time, the exploration of the city museum can be transformed into an immersive and engaging walk through history.

Space frame The aim was to create a free space allowing free exploration in the city museum, to achieve this the city museum has two structural systems, a steel space frame, and concrete cores which supports the steel frames this type of structure allows the museum to be open and free without columns easy for navigations
