Nowadays, there are many homeless individuals, and many of them form bonds with homeless pets. For these reasons, the unit was created for both homeless people and pets. The Yin Yang sign is inspiration for creating a balance between affordability and comfort as well as between homeless people and their pets. Balance is also between solid and void ratios and voids ratio in walls and ceiling. The project's secondary goal was enclosure.
The project is a homeless unit with a 60m2 area, it consists of bedroom with a bathroom, living room and an open kitchen with a small corner for pets. The bedroom is in the wide side of the curve to feel more comfortable while its ceiling is slightly tight comparing it with the floor area in order to feel enclosure.
The unit is made of Processed cardboard with plywood in order to make the unit affordable and easy to be constructed anywhere or any time it is needed.
