Project idea
The design was thought in favor of the views, sun exposure and topography in a way that would dialogue with the proposed surroundings. The main facades facing East-West have large floor-to-ceiling windows in order to provide better sunlight and cross ventilation.
Project description
The project is located in Vila Madalena, South Zone of São Paulo, on a plot of approximately 800 m². The terrain is sloping, facing the valley, which is one of the main architectural approaches.
Technical information
The project has three levels: upper floor, basement, and the main access is through the ground floor. The materiality is ensured by the use of exposed concrete, which connects with elements of wood, steel, and glass. Supported by a concrete structure and exposed beams inspired by the Brutalist movement, they shape a program that occupies 400 m² of built area.
