My architectural focus lies at the intersection of sustainability, social equity, and experiential design. With over seven years of professional experience across India and the United States, I am particularly interested in how architecture can respond to environmental challenges while improving the quality of life for diverse communities. My work explores regenerative design strategies, adaptive reuse, and material innovation-especially in the context of rapidly urbanizing and infrastructure-driven environments.Having worked across diverse cultural and professional contexts, my approach is shaped by a sensitivity to local conditions and resource systems. During my time as a Project Associate with the Green Office at IIT Roorkee, in India I engaged with water reuse and sustainable systems at an institutional scale, strengthening my commitment to environmentally responsible design. This foundation continues to inform my current work in the United States on large-scale transit infrastructure, including the Second Avenue Subway Phase 2 project with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, where I contribute to designing complex urban systems that balance efficiency, accessibility, and long-term resilience. My professional experience also includes aviation and mobility projects such as JFK Terminal redevelopment and LaGuardia Airport expansions, where I have worked on enhancing passenger experience through clarity, wayfinding, and spatial efficiency. These projects have deepened my understanding of how architecture operates at the intersection of movement, public interface, and large-scale coordination.I am also deeply invested in sensory and human-centric architecture. My research and writings, including work on “sensory architecture,” investigate how built environments can engage perception, memory, and inclusivity-particularly for underserved or marginalized user groups. I believe architecture should not only function efficiently but also create meaningful, inclusive experiences.Ultimately, my focus is on bridging technical rigor with conceptual depth-designing spaces that are resilient, equitable, and emotionally resonant. Through both practice and research, I seek to contribute to a future where architecture acts as a catalyst for sustainable and inclusive urban transformation.
