The project presents a well-thought-out transformation of the Bulovna complex into a cultural and social center, with an emphasis on connecting historical heritage and contemporary architecture. I particularly appreciate the creation of a new entrance pavilion, which clearly defines the main entrance to the complex and helps visitors find their way around. The entrance area feels open, naturally inviting visitors in and creating a dignified forecourt for the museum. A strong point of the design is its treatment of public space and the connection between the individual parts of the complex. The new structures create a clear layout and facilitate the smooth movement of visitors between the exhibits, ancillary facilities, and outdoor areas. I also appreciate the transparency of the new structures, which contributes to the open character of the entire complex. The design sensitively engages with the existing industrial architecture and seeks to preserve its identity while adding a contemporary architectural layer. This creates a balanced relationship between the historic buildings and the new interventions. For the project’s further development, it would be interesting to integrate the architectural concept even more closely with the theme of hop-growing and the history of Bulovna. A stronger connection between the exhibition content and the spatial design could offer visitors an even more immersive experience and reinforce the uniqueness of the design.Overall, this is a well-executed design with a well-managed layout of the site, a clearly defined entrance, and a pleasant public space, all of which create favorable conditions for the museum’s operation.
