First, congratulations on your project. I appreciate how you presented your design process, especially how you developed your ideas through empathy, defining solutions, ideation, and modeling. I also like how you supported your concept with data and integrated your programming into your space planning.
I commend your effort, Monica, especially in developing your technical drawings and details. For competition presentations, however, focus on showing only the elements that best communicate your design story.
For improvement, try to reduce the amount of text in your presentation. Limit each page to around 30–35 words and use more visuals, (it was a lot to read, but a good read ? ) diagrams, and graphics to communicate your ideas effectively. Judges usually have limited time, so make your presentation easier and faster to understand.
Your presentation board also needs more refinement. Avoid unnecessary lines, borders, and too many font styles or text sizes (try to have 2-3 fonts only and 1-2 text sizes, I am sure the next time you'll do presentation you will notice who simple fonts and text sizes will impact your presentation). Keep the layout clean, consistent, and focused on your main concept.
For your design, consider the importance of natural light and connection to nature, especially for healthcare spaces. Patients need environments that feel warm, comforting, and less confined. Also, review your circulation and space efficiency to ensure the design is practical and feasible. Keep in mind, the money shot of your perspectives is so important for first glance ?
