The presented design of a seven-storey hotel demonstrates an ambition to create a modern service-oriented facility that provides comfortable accommodation while offering a positive spatial experience for its users. The core idea is valid and aligns with contemporary approaches to hotel design; however, at its current stage, it remains very general and insufficiently developed.
The main challenge of the project lies in its overly concise conceptual and technical description. Information regarding functionality, spatial organization, and material solutions is minimal and does not allow for a full understanding of the design intentions. The main concept has not been clearly developed—it is difficult to identify what distinguishes this hotel from others or what specific experience it is meant to offer to its users.
When analyzing the drawings, it becomes evident that the presentation boards are composed in a chaotic manner. There is an excessive variety of fonts, colors, textures, and graphic styles, which significantly hinders readability and creates visual confusion. A clear hierarchy of information and a consistent graphic language are missing, making it difficult to focus on the key aspects of the project.
The technical drawings also require further refinement. They are not sufficiently clear and appear not fully professionally developed, both in terms of line quality, notation, and overall precision. Given the scale of the project (a multi-storey hotel), clarity and accuracy of documentation are particularly important and have not yet been fully achieved.
A positive aspect worth highlighting is the attempt to create a physical model, which demonstrates spatial thinking and an effort to verify design ideas in a tangible way. This is a valuable part of the design process and should be further developed.
A significant shortcoming of the project presentation is the lack of visualizations, which are essential in hotel design to convey atmosphere, quality, and the character of the spaces. Their absence considerably limits the ability to assess the proposed interiors and overall user experience.
In the next stages, it is important to further develop and refine the design concept, giving it a more distinctive and recognizable character. The presentation boards should be organized—reducing the number of fonts, colors, and textures, and introducing a clear and consistent hierarchy of information. Technical drawings need to be improved in terms of precision and clarity, in line with professional documentation standards. It is also highly recommended to include visualizations to better communicate the aesthetic intentions. Additionally, it may be beneficial to focus on a smaller-scale project in the future, but develop it in greater detail and with more consistency, which would help strengthen overall design skills and presentation quality.
