Work description
Do you want to excel on the cutting-edge of science? Help support the renewable transition through exciting and practical multidisciplinary collaboration? Design, model, and test the advanced materials of the future? Then the Chair of Material Science at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) is the place for you. Come join us at the heart of Bavaria, where the Alps, rich culture, and the famous Isar river await. Our team consists of passionate, international researchers motivated to make advances for a better future. Our core of material science stretches its branches into vast sciences. We advance polymer and catalyst chemistry for additive manufacturing, coating, fuel cell, and electrolyzer applications. Simulation experience across the domains of FEM, MD, DFT, and CFD marries analytics to our experimental work. An experience with our Chair will expose you to the latest developments and technology across disciplines. The opportunity to work with bespoke electrochemical test stations, advanced ALD systems, state-of-the-art lithography printers, and high-tech characterization equipment, is just the tip of the iceberg. Along with practical experience in advanced modelling, multidisciplinary science, and engineering, you will gain invaluable connections from the international scientific community.
