Work description
Cybersecurity Malware Research InternshipOverview: This internship provides a unique hands-on opportunity to explore the fields of computer networking and cybersecurity, with a strong focus on malware research and threat analysis. Interns will study recent malware threats in detail, evaluate their digital signatures, and contribute to developing robust methods to detect, contain, and prevent the spread of malicious software. The program combines theoretical foundations with practical, research-oriented, and problem-solving tasks.Objectives:1)Gain comprehensive understanding of computer networking principles and essential network security practices.2)Analyze recent malware samples thoroughly, identifying their behavior, internal structure, and digital signatures.3)Assist researchers in recommending effective techniques for early malware detection, containment, and sandboxing.Outcomes:1)Acquire practical skills in malware analysis, cybersecurity tools, and threat mitigation strategies.2)Develop enhanced analytical thinking, problem-solving, and research-oriented capabilities.3)Gain experience supporting research projects addressing real-world digital security threats.Intern's Responsibilities:1)Conduct in-depth research on emerging malware and document their unique characteristics.2)Collaborate with faculty and researchers to analyze malware signatures using cybersecurity tools.3)Prepare detailed technical reports and recommend preventive measures to mitigate malware risks.
