Project idea

By studying the port of Beirut, we developed the concept of "Nostalgia". A design aiming to preserve all the local habits and activities- the current ones and the ones lost by time, while providing modern solutions to the current issues, to achieve an organized modern version of Beirut port.

Project description

The project aims to attract two main groups of people, First businessmen, secondly tourists entering or leaving the port, increasing business and the proportion of investment in Beirut. The project will be an opportunity to increase investment in Beirut. Technical information

-The area where the big explosion happened , it was the silos dock and warehouses area and in the new design, it becomes a museum displays the history of Lebanon through a technology technique called AR (Augmented Reality) technique, which has the ability to place holographic image in the space and lock them to a physical location which allows visitors to walk around for a 360 degree view . -Cypress Arizona tree is the best trees surrounding the port zone to block sound and reduce noise pollution . -Deployment of an onshore power supply system (OPS) - Clean energy investment & use of renewable energy resources. - Revitalization of green spaces.
