Project idea

the idea of this project revolving around the meshing of two vastly different architectural interior designs and managing to make them harmonize. The chosen 2 styles were: 1. old arabian/ islamic 2. space age . The chosen building is called al suheimy house, it is an old building that used to host cultural and artisan events but closed a decade ago. this project proposes reinventing it via space age furnishings and giving it a new purpose.

Project description

This project consists of the following parts. An entrance, a restaurant, an open exhibition, and a workspace.

Technical information

As the building is an old one, it was made of wood and concrete. The space age installations were made of glass, steel, plastic.
