Project idea

Echoes of Endurance The Gothic period emerged amid wars and societal challenges, yet produced enduring architectural marvels that symbolized collective strength and spiritual steadfastness. Similarly, Ukraine today is confronted with conflict that threatens its sovereignty and cultural identity. Therefore, this project is inspired by the Gothic cultural expressions to manifest the resilience demonstrated by the Ukrainian people, whose cultural heritage reflects a powerful will to endure.

Project description

This project aims to strengthen national morale by linking historical symbols of resilience from the Gothic period to the lived realities of Ukraine today. It underscores how cultural heritage and artistic expression serve as vital foundations for endurance during times of war, offering an echo of people’s hope of unity and endurance in the face of adversity.

Structural System: Reinforced concrete frame with load-bearing cavity brick walls.
