Project idea

the idea of ​​the project is to break down the barriers created by boulevard LUMUMBA, through its interchange, that of LIMETE. From where I had to establish a physical link between districts in the place of the reconstruction which is an important place of the city but which remains under use. hence the title of a place of interconnection. and in addition to that, I had to highlight the tower of LIMETE as well as its museum.

Project description

our solution was focused on physical communication between neighborhoods through the square by a gentle circulation circuit passing over the boulevard. and then, highlight the museum of contemporary art that includes the tower at the level of its cake, which is not known to the general public. and lastly, accompanied by all these new activities, adequate equipment that does not compete with the tower but make it shine, by associating culture, sport and commerce, adding to that an urban park

Technical information

on this part, we made use of simple concrete gantries, for most of the structures, present in the project. and for reasons of appearance, we have dressed most of our buildings with perforated metal sheets, to create animation. and since I had to have a hanging garden, the use of a vegetable tree was imposed. and without forgetting our temporary pavilion, a metal structure was at work to express the pavilion.
