Philosophy: The belief that every child deserves to live in a safe and healthy environment and to receive the necessary education and psychosocial support to reach their full potential. Embodiment: Designing the center in a comfortable and beautiful way, providing all the necessary facilities for life, education, and work. In the form of an open square, with a central courtyard - an open urban area. This allows the children to move freely within the center. The square shape represents and embodies stability, which is the missing element for street children.

Project description

The Rehabilitation Center provides a wide range of services needed by children, including healthcare, education, vocational training, and psychosocial support. These services can help children recover from their issues and integrate into the community. Creating job opportunities: The Rehabilitation Center provides job opportunities for healthcare, education, and vocational training professionals. These opportunities can help reduce unemployment and improve the economy.

Technical information

1. Building and Facilities: - Suitable building with a capacity of 500 children, comprising sleeping rooms, activity halls, kitchen and catering facilities, sanitary facilities, and general services. - Furnishing the rooms and halls with the necessary equipment and furniture to implement the rehabilitation programs. - Providing outdoor spaces for sports and recreational activities. 2. Rehabilitation and Educational Programs: - Social reintegration programs and provision of psychological and social services. - Supplementary educational programs and vocational training suitable for the children's ages. - Healthcare programs and provision of medical care when needed. - Life skills and personal development programs. 3. Human Resources: - Employing a specialized team to work with street children, including social workers, teachers, counselors, and medical staff. - Providing continuous training programs for the center's staff. 4. Management and Operations: - Establishing an administrative system and procedures for coordination, monitoring, and evaluation. - Developing mechanisms for cooperation and partnership with government agencies and relevant organizations. - Identifying sustainable funding sources for the project. Este proyecto encarna una misión arquitectónica profundamente humana y socialmente urgente, al ofrecer un entorno integral y enriquecedor para la rehabilitación y el desarrollo de niños vulnerables. El diseño centrado en un patio abierto simboliza inteligentemente la estabilidad y la seguridad, fomentando un sentido de comunidad, pertenencia y libre circulación. La cuidada inclusión de diversas instalaciones -como espacios educativos, talleres de formación profesional, unidades sanitarias y zonas recreativas- garantiza un enfoque holístico de la recuperación física, mental y social. El énfasis en la creación de empleo y la gestión sostenible refuerza aún más la viabilidad del proyecto a largo plazo. Sin embargo, un mayor refinamiento en la integración paisajística y la articulación de los espacios de transición podría mejorar la calidad terapéutica del entorno. En conjunto, este proyecto presenta un modelo inspirador y compasivo de arquitectura con vocación social que aborda las necesidades urbanas urgentes con dignidad y cuidado.
