Project idea

Bird Watching Project: Idea and Concept Idea: Create a bird watching project that provides diverse environments for different bird species while considering the needs of both researchers and visitors. Concept: Land Level Utilization: Right side: Dedicated to non-domestic birds, covered with louvers and a tree wall to prevent them from feeling human presence. Upper level: Dedicated to rock-loving birds. Lower level: Dedicated to birds that live in lakes. Left side: Dedicated to domestic birds, accessible via a bridge with a ramp at the end. Third floor: Dedicated to researchers, with the ability to view birds from different angles. Bridge: Open passage for visitors, ending with a cafeteria and a souvenir shop. Project Objectives: Protect birds and provide them with a suitable natural environment. Educate the public about the importance of birds in the ecosystem. Provide an opportunity for researchers to study birds in their natural habitat. Create a unique tourist destination that attracts visitors from all over the world.

Project description

Utilizing the ground level: The park is designed on three levels, with each level providing a suitable environment for a different type of bird. Separating visitors from non-tame birds: The right side of the park is dedicated to non-tame birds, with the walkway covered with louvers and a tree fence to prevent birds from feeling human presence and maintain their natural behavior. Integrating an existing tree into the design: An existing tree on the site was utilized by creating an opening in the building to incorporate the tree into the park.

Technical information

Location: The park is located in an area with a tiered ground level, where the difference in elevation between the highest and lowest points is approximately 3 meters. This gradient in the level has been utilized to create a diversity of environments within the park, to suit the needs of different bird species. Park Design: Right side: Dedicated to non-tame birds, where the walkway is covered with louvers and a tree fence to prevent birds from feeling human presence and maintain their natural behavior. Upper level: Dedicated to birds that prefer to live on rocks. Lower level: Dedicated to birds that live in lakes. Left side: Dedicated to tame birds, where visitors can access them via a bridge with a ramp at the end. Third floor: Dedicated to researchers, where they can observe birds from different angles without disturbing them. Bridge: Serves as an open-air exhibition for visitors, where they can enjoy watching birds freely. Cafeteria and gift shop: Located at the end of the bridge to provide comfort and services for visitors. Materials Used: Sustainable and environmentally friendly building materials will be used whenever possible. Native plants and trees will be used to create natural habitats and attract birds. El proyecto del Centro de Investigación de Aves AVES, en Egipto, Parque Antoniados, destaca por ser un diseño técnicamente sólido y conceptualmente rico que integra maravillosamente la arquitectura con la naturaleza. Demuestra una gran comprensión de la planificación sostenible al conservar cuidadosamente los espacios para las especies de aves salvajes y domésticas, al tiempo que garantiza la comodidad de investigadores y visitantes. La disposición utiliza inteligentemente la topografía y los cambios de altitud del lugar para crear zonas diferenciadas para las distintas especies, lo que demuestra la viabilidad del diseño para el lugar y la comunidad a la que pretende servir. Los gráficos están bien realizados: son claros, intuitivos e informativos. La lógica espacial del proyecto es fácilmente comprensible, por lo que resulta accesible incluso para los ajenos al sector. La inclusión de vallas de árboles, persianas y materiales autóctonos demuestra un planteamiento meditado y bien estudiado.
