Residential complex in Ghalat_Shiraz_Iran (A multicultural context)

First of all, let me thank you for participating in the InspireLi awards and for all the efforts put into this project. The topic of the project and the complex situation & problems that it aims to address are of such importance in our times especially when we, architects & urbanists (but also stakeholders), are on a constant lookout for new design solutions for the never-ending urban expansion and development of our cities, in which housing design is a key component. The choice of starting from human cognition as a foundation concept for the design approach is a very interesting choice in my opinion especially since you also made sure to emphasize the fact that the context (social, cultural & topological) is of extremely great importance in this project. Nevertheless, looking at the initial analysis panels, it would have been better to present more information about the 3 contexts mentioned earlier and to dig deeper into these components, especially the cultural one. It would've been more intriguing to me to learn more about the traditional and historical background of the site and the village, which will also help me understand more some of the design choices that are still a bit vague in relationship with the initial concept of the human cognition. Other than that, I really appreciate the quality of the work overall and find the idea of framing some of the interesting scenery to be a successful experiment. The 3D illustrations for the whole project are also of very good quality. Thank you for your hard work and good luck in your future endeavors. Waddah DRIDI.
