It’s considered to be part of the island development plans. Bal island targets multi-users from Autism to Alzheimer's patients, and introduces a new concept of agri-healing, the main concept was to find a unique balance between the high activity of autistic children in cooperation with the calmness of Alzheimer's elder patients.

Popis projektu

The master plan consists of two main zones for each disease with a common integrated heart of healing gardens blending the two zones together, each one with its different activities and connecting the two user experiences together in one green heart. Bal Island

The project looks great! It’s detailed concept and unusual bright presentation. As an architect who has been designing inclusive public spaces for children for several years, while working at the Foundation, which helped children with developmental disabilities, including those with autism, I could advise adding some details and explanations to the organization of a recreation area for children. For instance, you can add a sensory area with different types of coverings and using natural materials, such as tree bark, small and large pebbles, sand, straw or natural grass. You can add zoning that will provide privacy for each child, these can be some kind of semi-closed locations with a soft surface.
