Klánovice, part of Prague, iconic with its lands
with many trees on each of them. As we walked through Klánovice, the symbol was clear. I wanted to stick to this inspiration, so I came up with a tree as a shelter, a monument.
The aim of the visitors' art was not only a space for reading, where they can meet the neighbors, to relax a bit, but also an experience. The tree is complemented by small benches at different heights
in the shape of pentagons.
The construction is made of a steel skeleton and the whole tree is then covered with larch wood. The crown of the tree is solved by building membranes anchored to 3 branches.
Several triangular holes are made in the trunk shell to form shelves
in a construction where books can be hidden

This is a delightful little project that has so many applications. In addition to being used in parks, I can see this in urban areas where natural trees may not exist or the conditions are difficult for vegetation to grow. This would also open the opportunity to possibly using photovoltaics in the membranes to power lighting for the immediate area for security or landscape lighting.
