Idea projektu

The port of Life project is a project that was born after the explosion that led to the great destruction of Beirut and also affected Lebanon economy. So we decide to start the moment at which its life was stopped , and we decided to bring it back to life.

We started thinking about providing alternative housing for the people of Lebanon who were affected by the explosion. We had to provide some projects that would revive Beirut's economy, as the craft center was set up, as well as a commercial center and recreational areas to attract tourists. Providing a hospital with environmental isolation areas for mental and physical caring of the injures . Applying the principles of sustainability that slow down the effects of global warming through the use of solar panels, the provision of green spaces, the use of available materials such as CONTEINER, and the use of environmentally friendly materials. As well as rebuilding and organizing the cargo reception area.

Technické informácie

The construction of the buildings was made of the remaining containers which can't be used for carrying goods , woods for landscape furniture , GRC And Transparent glass soler panels which used for saving energy and decreasing the economical costs .
