Stager Sands

"Stager Sands" is a model of inclusive architectural practice, offering a fully accessible residential and therapeutic complex along the Felixstowe seafront. The project is not just adapted for the disabled but designed explicitly for them from the outset, incorporating gradual slopes, tactile materials, and sensory gardens. The integration of rehabilitation spaces, a public café, and green connections to existing seafront infrastructure reflects a holistic and community-minded approach. The architectural language is calm, coherent, and responsive to both human scale and context. With only minor suggestions for deepening material richness, this is a well-executed and socially commendable project.
