Azza Fahmy Office ( Break Area )

Idea projektu

The design firm Azza Fahmy Jewellery was founded by Egyptian jewelry designer Azza Fahmy. She was the first female to train in Khan El Khalili, Egypt's jewelry district. Fahmy has always drawn inspiration for her creations from both local and international culture and tradition. The 'Houses of the Nile' series, one of her first, included elements of Egyptian culture. Arabic calligraphy with classic sayings and poetry by renowned academics, poets, and artists is one of Fahmy's specialties. The project's primary objective is to infuse the office atrium with the brand's core vibes and legacy so that the staff members have a complete Azza Fahmy experience and distribute this enthusiasm to the clients.

Popis projektu

The project's primary focus is on the inner landscapes, which draw inspiration from the Egyptian flora found in the Nile region and the plants represented in the Azza Fahmy jewelry. There is a bar area on the first level for staff members with various seating arrangements surrounding the main water path in the middle representing the Nile . VIP visitors and a showroom are the primary uses of the second floor.

Technické informácie

The building's existing columns were supplemented with new ones to represent the Egyptian temples' architectural design.

Azza Fahmy Office ( Break Area )

One country and one world of ancient works and traditional and old motifs. The overall design is good, but there are some things that need to be considered, which I divide into four general categories. Category One: Regarding the use of historical and traditional motifs and the representation of these works in the design, it should be noted that the purpose of using these elements is to get ideas, because these works had the most up-to-date ideas and technology of their time at the time, and for our design, we must take a close look at these historical and traditional elements, expand at least a small step, and prepare our design for our time by looking at the past. Category Two: In this design style, the quality of space can be improved with small changes in the plan and internal volumes, and the user can subconsciously feel the hierarchy of reaching the inside and going upstairs, and the space for movement and pause becomes of higher quality. Category Three: This design is in a country with a hot and very hot climate, so measures to deal with high heat and high light during the day should be very important, and it is better to combine old ideas that have been updated or use modern solutions or combined with architectural tricks for the climate. Category Four: In the presentation and rendering of images, there is not much difference between daylight and night light, whereas the difference between daylight and night light in a space conveys different sensory perceptions to the viewer, which makes life in daylight and night light in a space diverse. I wish you and all the students the best.
