Manta pavillion

The Meta Pavilion presents a striking and innovative design, effectively merging the fluidity of the manta ray with the solid form of mountains. The pavilion's dynamic wings, inspired by the manta ray, create a sense of movement, while the structural elements grounded in mountain forms convey strength and permanence. I particularly appreciate how the pavilion fits into its unique location at the Siwa Oasis—the use of local materials and sustainable design principles is commendable. It’s great that the pavilion serves multiple functions, offering spaces for exhibitions, performances, and interactive activities. The technical choices, like PVC-coated polyester and PTFE-coated glass cloth, work well in ensuring both the aesthetic quality and the structural integrity of the design. However, I’d suggest further exploring how the interior spaces interact with the desert climate, perhaps considering more details on how natural ventilation or shading strategies are integrated into the design. The Meta Pavilion feels like a well-thought-out project that balances natural inspiration with cutting-edge architectural techniques, offering both beauty and function in a sustainable context. Keep up the great work!
