Laque administrative office design

Idea projektu

Laque is a local cosmetic brand that embodies hydration, elegance, and luminosity. Specializing in skincare-infused makeup, Laque focuses on hydrating products and high-shine lip glosses that enhance natural beauty while nourishing the skin. The brand draws inspiration from the fluidity and purity of water, translating this into a sleek and modern interior space.

Popis projektu

The layout includes a welcoming reception and waiting area, a showcase zone for brand display, open and semi-closed offices for varying work styles, a secretary area to support operations and a pantry. Two meeting spaces a small meeting room for informal discussions and a large meeting room for formal gatherings are integrated for collaboration. The design is completed with a refined CEO office.

Technické informácie

The construction of the LAQUE Administrative Office was guided by a clear design strategy that prioritized spatial efficiency, brand identity, and material functionality. The project utilizes partition walls, glass enclosures, and suspended ceilings to define and separate spaces such as the reception, open offices and meeting rooms. Material selection was driven by the brand’s concept hydration and luminosity using reflective surfaces, curved forms, and a cool-toned palette to convey fluidity and modern elegance. The layout and furniture were carefully planned to accommodate electrical, lighting, and HVAC requirements, ensuring both technical feasibility and user comfort.

Laque administrative office design

I really enjoyed exploring this project — it’s a great example of how a strong brand concept can be translated into interior architecture with clarity and intention. The inspiration behind the design — hydration, elegance, and fluidity — is consistently carried through the space. You can clearly feel the influence of water in the curved lines, translucent partitions, and the overall lightness of the materials and color palette. The visual identity is subtle but present, and nothing feels forced — everything flows naturally, which fits the concept perfectly. Spatial organization is well thought out. There’s a good balance between open and semi-private zones, and the layout supports different work styles, from focused tasks to collaborative meetings. I especially like how the circulation feels intuitive, and how each zone is defined without harsh separations. Material choices like reflective finishes and soft cool tones work really well with the brand message. Technically, the project is also solid — from the HVAC and lighting considerations to the use of sections and diagrams that communicate the idea clearly and professionally.

Ergonomics in work zones: While the open office spaces look clean and airy, some workstations could be slightly more tailored in terms of practical use — desk depth, storage integration, and acoustics could be pushed a bit further to increase user comfort. Lighting layering: The ambient lighting fits the mood well, but a few more layers (especially task lighting in individual work areas or accent lights on product displays) would enhance usability and create more visual rhythm. Brand presence in furniture: There’s a strong visual identity in the space, but a bit more custom-designed furniture pieces inspired by the product forms or packaging (like the lipstick/lip gloss shapes) could elevate the storytelling and make the space even more iconic. Textures and warmth: Given the cool-toned palette, introducing subtle textures (through textiles, matte finishes, or natural elements) could add a layer of tactile richness and help balance the sleekness with warmth.
