Vitalis Hospittal

Project idea

Where silence begins to move - a hospital design concept integrating healthcare architecture within an urban context, featuring landscaped terraces and water features.

Project description

The project presents a hospital design set within a dense urban fabric, characterized by terraced green rooftops, linear water channels, and landscaped pathways. The architecture uses local materials and earthy tones that blend with the surrounding context, while incorporating modern healthcare facility planning with extensive greenery and open spaces for patient wellbeing.

Technical information

A hospital is a multifunctional healthcare facility designed with a clear functional organization that ensures the separation of patient flow, emergency access, and service circulation. It typically includes reception and emergency departments, diagnostic units (such as radiology and laboratories), treatment areas (including operating rooms and intensive care units), inpatient wards, as well as administrative and technical services. The design follows essential standards such as providing natural light and ventilation for patient rooms, ensuring adequate corridor widths for safe movement, and using hygienic, easy-to-clean materials to maintain sanitary conditions. Modern hospital design also integrates sustainability principles, including solar energy systems, therapeutic green spaces, and energy efficiency strategies, while often adopting a modular approach that allows flexibility, expansion, or relocation, especially in emergency or crisis-oriented healthcare projects.
