Culturtainment Building presents a varied schedule of shows, movies, gallery exhibitions, educational initiatives and neighbourhood get-togethers honouring the area's rich cultural legacy. Offering the local community library services in addition to cultural enrichment, and entertainment.

Project description

The architectural design proposal for a culture and entertainment facility on the Nile River focuses on merging open spaces with nature, maximizing the library view, and considering environmental concerns. The building is designed to offer panoramic views of the river. It connects in  with the natural surroundings. Open plazas and outdoor performance areas promote engagement and cultural events while linking people to nature. The design takes use of the prevailing winds while reducing exposure to the south.

Technical information

the construction of the building depends on steel frames structure system for the open spans and a steel truss system that holds the glass cube structure.
