Project idea

Deep Blom is a luxury contemporary resort inspired by Japanese food culture, particularly the aesthetic and form of sushi. The concept is reflected in the circular layout of the floor plan, symbolizing harmony and flow. Materials like wood are inspired by the traditional sushi mat, while the textures and colors reflect elements such as salmon lines and sushi tones. Located by the sea, the resort includes a sushi bar within the food court, and a seafood & Japanese restaurant offering fresh fish and a culinary experience connected to the coastal setting. The goal is to blend cultural inspiration with modern luxury, providing guests with a refined, immersive environment.

Project description

Deep Blom is a luxury seaside resort inspired by Japanese food culture, especially sushi. The circular floor plan reflects the shape of sushi, while materials like wood and soft colors are taken from sushi mats and salmon textures. The resort includes a sushi bar and a Japanese & seafood restaurant offering fresh local fish. The goal is to merge cultural elegance with modern comfort in a unique coastal setting.

Technical information

The resort uses natural wood, glass, and stone finishes to reflect a warm, modern aesthetic. Lighting combines natural sunlight, LED profiles, and a mix of warm and cool tones for a relaxing ambiance. The design includes exposed ventilation pipes in the ceiling, reflecting an industrial-modern style. Spaces are functionally zoned for comfort, with smooth circulation throughout the resort.
