Eco-five-star Hotel

This proposal presents a thoughtful integration of sustainable design principles within the context of Amman, Jordan. By incorporating the city's green line into the project's layout, the design creates a series of recesses and openings—such as private terraces and communal roof gardens—that foster both privacy and social interaction. The innovative use of internal double-volume spaces breaks away from conventional hotel layouts, offering guests a unique spatial experience that brings nature indoors. The project's commitment to sustainability is evident in its architectural language, which aligns with Amman's prevailing styles while introducing modern eco-friendly elements. The design successfully reimagines traditional hotel interiors, moving away from monotonous corridors to dynamic spaces that enhance the user experience. However, while the conceptual framework is strong, further development in material selection and construction detailing would enhance the project's feasibility and environmental performance. Detailed plans illustrating the integration of sustainable technologies and materials would provide a more comprehensive understanding of the design's impact. Overall, the "Eco-five-star Hotel" is a commendable effort that thoughtfully blends sustainability with cultural context, offering a fresh perspective on eco-friendly hospitality design. With additional refinement, it has the potential to serve as a model for sustainable urban development in similar settings.
