I worked on this project involving a family house with an architectural office on the ground floor, located in the center of a village near a school. The village is situated in northern Slovakia with a beautiful view of the surrounding nature. The house is two-storied with five rooms. I also worked on the urban planning design for the area around the school. The house is located on one of these parcels.
"Rodinný dom" is a residential project that emphasizes simplicity and functionality. The design focuses on creating a comfortable living space that meets the needs of a modern family while maintaining a straightforward architectural approach.
The project's strength lies in its clear spatial organization and efficient use of materials. However, to enhance its architectural value, further development in areas such as façade articulation, integration with the surrounding environment, and incorporation of sustainable design principles would be beneficial. With additional refinement, the project has the potential to serve as a model for practical and cost-effective residential design.
