The museum focuses on presenting Al-Idrisi’s scientific and geographical journey—from exploration and observation to documentation and mapmaking—through a progressive circulation path that reflects the notion of travel itself. Organic forms inspired by carved mountains, natural materiality, and carefully controlled lighting were employed to emphasize depth, movement, and gradual spatial discovery. The project aims to create an immersive museum experience that integrates interior architecture, visual storytelling, and spatial sequencing, translating geographical knowledge into a sensory and educational journey for visitors.
