Project description

Okhtein is an Egyptian luxury handbag brand founded by two sisters, known for creating unique and artistic designs inspired by Egyptian culture and heritage with a contemporary approach. The brand combines traditional craftsmanship with modern fashion, using bold forms, detailed textures, and high-quality materials. The store design translates the brand identity into a physical experience, creating a sophisticated and elegant retail environment. Located in a high-end commercial area in Sheikh Zayed City, the store targets fashion-conscious women and young adults seeking a unique shopping experience. The design follows a modern luxury style, using glass facades, natural lighting, elegant finishes, and carefully planned display areas to highlight the handbags and accessories. The space is designed to create a strong connection between the customer and the brand through a combination of cultural elements and contemporary aesthetics.

Technical information

The project includes a ground floor plan and a mezzanine floor plan at a scale of 1:100, along with a section (A-A’) at a scale of 1:25. The design development includes spatial zoning and circulation analysis to organize the functional areas. The commercial area is designed around a central staircase connecting the two levels, with display partitions integrated between the stairs to showcase the products and create an engaging shopping experience. The material palette reflects Okhtein’s luxurious identity, featuring grey marble flooring, elegant gold partitions, and a stone staircase with gold accents. The use of bold colors, high-quality materials, and refined finishes creates a luxurious atmosphere that reflects the brand’s premium character and strengthens the connection between the interior space and Okhtein’s identity.
