THE EMBASSY OF CZECH REPUBLIC IN ETHOPIA

Project idea

The main idea was to merge between the cezch republic architecture and the local materials from ethopia throughthe use of agrostone which is a local matireal commonlyused ethopea to create a new type of architecture which follows the functionalism architecture style which is only focusing on the funtion and exposing or showing the raw materials . Another idea reflected from the functionalism architecture was to play with the masses and shifting them to create intresting space using the mass and void while intigrating glass in between while the use of courtyards to inhancethe interior lightig while following the regulations of the site .

Project description

the main aims of the project was to how to create a new form of architecture which represents both countries while providing interesting space . while as the buildings form and experience would change accordingly to the type of users which will be using the space. in addition to trying to provide and follow the space program and providing better for the public use ,

Technical information

The documents include a 1/500 master plan , al the building plans are 1/200 and four main elevations 1/100 , two sections 1/100 and serval perspectives and 3d shots and some diagrams to help visualize the project better .
